Registration and Parishioner Status
Please make Christ Our King your parish by completing the online registration form or filling out a paper registration card. The online form can be found by clicking here. Cards can be found in the rear of the church or by visiting the Parish Office in the Life Center.
It has become a general procedure that statements testifying to the active, participating, contributing status of an individual be provided for those wishing to be sacramental sponsors or receive parishioner rates for Catholic school tuition. We cannot issue such statements if you are not a registered and active member of Christ Our King. You must use the offertory envelopes provided to registered parishioners to verify your active status.

To volunteer with one of the great programs at Christ Our King parish, the Diocese of Charleston has mandated all volunteers and employees must complete a Safe Environment screening process prior to volunteering or working with children and vulnerable adults. This program is designed to keep our church community safe from all forms of abuse. The mission of the Safe Environment Program is to ensure that children, young people, and vulnerable individuals who worship, study, or participate in activities sponsored therein can do so in the safest and most secure setting possible.
Before you can begin to volunteer with minors or vulnerable adults, you must complete a background screening, read and agree to adhere to the Diocesan Policy Concerning Allegations of Sexual Misconduct, read and adhere to the Code of Conduct Agreement, and complete a Safe Haven online training course.

Child Abuse Prevention Blessing
Dear Lord, We ask You to bless these Your holy people who have participated in the Church’s efforts to help stop child sexual abuse. Open their hearts to Your call to be the “ears, eyes and voice of children and young people” everywhere. Give them the vision and grace needed to fulfill the special commitments that each of them has made to making their homes, churches, schools, communities and world a safer place for all God’s Children.
