The Meal Train Ministry provides meals to fellow Christ Our King parishioners who are new parents, have recently had surgery, or have recently lost a loved one.

Fix-it! is an East Cooper Faith Network initiative that uses volunteers to make critical home repairs in our area. Fix-it! helps those in need keep their homes safe, accessible, and dry. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. Contact: Greg and Kathy Jones 

I-Beam is a literacy and mentorship program. During school lunch breaks, mentors read with elementary school students. Volunteers share the love of reading with students who could really use a little help from a dedicated reading buddy. Interested in helping? Please complete the Volunteer Form. ​Following a parishioner's funeral Mass, the Lazarus Ministry offers a luncheon reception for the family of the deceased.

The Prison Ministry visits state correctional facilities, bringing the Body of Christ to incarcerated Catholics.

West Ashley Life Chain: Sunday, Oct 19th, 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Pro-life signs will be provided for you to hold; as traffic passes by, we'll stand together to bear public witness to the sanctity of life. : West Ashley Life Chain in front of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5 St. Theresa Drive (corner of Highway 17). Rosary with the Bishop: Tuesday, Oct 14th, at 6 PM. The Most Rev. Jacques Fabre-Jeune will lead a rosary for pro-life intentions on the public right-of-way outside Planned Parenthood in West Ashley. Parking is available at 1 Carriage Lane on the side closest to Ashley River Road. From there, you can walk across the street to the grassy area in front of Planned Parenthood. Questions? There are pregnant moms in our community who need assistance. Pope Francis reminds us, our parishes need to be "islands of mercy in the midst of the sea of indifference." Walking with Moms in Need is a nationwide effort to help moms and families access needed resources and support. Please consider getting involved today in this important ministry!  Visit the Walking with Moms webpage for more info.
