Prison Ministry
"for I was ill and you comforted me, in prison and you came to visit me ... I assure you, as often you did it for one of my least brothers, you did it for me." Mt 25:39-40
The Lord gave these instructions to the world, and the members of Christ Our King Prison Ministry try to fulfill the commands by visiting the state correctional facility and bringing the Body of Christ to those prisoners wishing to receive the precious Host. The group goes every month on the 2nd Friday. Through the readings and song, the prison community has an opportunity to get a little closer to Christ.
